SPEC SHEET

All designs are recommended to be supplied in an PC format for optimum quality.
Designs done in the following programs are acceptable:

Photoshop > saved as tiff, eps or jpeg format
QuarkXpress > include all eps & tiff files
Illustrator > include all embedded images & convert all text to curves
Corel Draw > saved as tiff, eps or jpeg format & convert all text to curves
Freehand > saved as tiff, eps or jpeg format & convert all text to curves

Fonts : All screen and postscript fonts need to be supplied unless converted to curves

Colours : All colours on documents need to be set to cmyk (unless spot pantone colours are being used).
RGB is not an acceptable printing format.

Resolution : When supplying images ensure that they are scanned at 300dpi
and are used at 100% otherwise quality will be compromised.

Bleed (trim) & cutting : All files need a 3mm bleed for cutting
If files are supplied without any bleed they will be given a border, so they can be cut correctly.
For printing to be finished correctly please ensure any text or logos are 5mm away from the edges.

Compression : When using isdn or e-mail
When compression has to be used, use the following formats: stuffit, winzip (pc), disk doubler or jpeg (Photoshop only).

Proofs : All jobs need to be supplied with a proof.
If sending the files isdn or e-mail please fax or post a proof immediately after sending.

PC's : If using a PC please state whether the files are Photoshop or Illustrator, so that they can be converted correctly.

Not accepted : Documents that are designed in any of the following formats or colour settings:
Pagemaker, Photopaint, Paintshop Pro, any Microsoft program, RGB, indexed colour, pict or lab colour.

Following these guidelines ensures that there will be no delays with printing.
